Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has received a price drop in India, with Xiaomi evidently looking to make its big display smartphone even more pocketable. The smartphone, originally launched in July, is now available for as low as Rs. 13,999.

Xiaomi VP and Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain confirmed the new development through a discussion on Monday. “BIG currently costs less! Announcing a permanent price drop of Rs. 1000 on the two variants on #MiMax2,” Jain tweeted.

With the new prices, the Xiaomi Mi Max two with 32GB of inbuilt storage is available for Rs. 13,999 (initially established of Rs. 14,999), while its 64GB inbuilt storage variant comes in Rs. 15,999 (surfaced for Rs. 16,999).

The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is the successor to the original Mi Max that has been unveiled in May. That is a 12-megapixel primary camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture and dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture lens.
