WhatsApp for Android has brought the Expected Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Attribute for all users.
It basically lets you view Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube movies in a little window and keep to scroll through WhatsApp chats simultaneously. Though the new update has now brought a dedicated PiP feature for all users that are Android, WhatsApp for iPhone was supplying an identical experience since January this year.
To use the Picture-in-Picture attribute on the most recent WhatsApp to get Android, now you can watch Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube movies in a small window and continue to browse around WhatsApp in different chats concurrently. The feature works in person chats in addition to group chats.
It functions only using a link of any Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube videos. Once you tap that link, the video plays in a small, dedicated window that sits on top of your WhatsApp chats. This means that you can continue to communicate either with individuals or the members of a WhatsApp group alongside watching the accessible Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube video.
It’s worth mentioning here that while the new feature plays Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube movies in a separate window on WhatsApp, it doesn’t work with the video clips shared natively about the instant messaging program. Similar is true for videos being shared from additional platforms.
As we said, WhatsApp was seen testing the Picture-in-Picture feature on Android in October. The Facebook-owned company brought the feature originally for iOS consumers back in January.
All you need to enable the Picture-in-Picture feature is to download that the Hottest WhatsApp for Android from Google Play. Android site GoAndroid first spotted the attribute in WhatsApp for Android version 2.18.380.
