Vivo Nex Dual Display Edition Launched, Features 2 AMOLED Displays and 3 Cameras

Vivo Nex$44,990 Dual Screen Edition is the latest offering in the Chinse smartphone Manufacturer, and the new model in Its Own ambitious Nex series of smartphones that feature Advanced form factors.
Launched in China on Tuesday, the Vivo Nex Dual Screen Edition sports two displays – one in front and one in the back. It is also the very first smartphone in Vivo to sports two AMOLED display panels, and three rear cameras. There’s not any front camera, top notch, or screen hole – instead, users may use the rear cameras because their selfie cameras, thanks to the rear screen giving them a preceding. Vivo Nex Dual Screen Edition also sports premium specifications such as a Snapdragon 845 SoC, 10GB of RAM, and 22.5W fast charging.

Vivo Nex Dual Screen Edition price is set at CNY 4,998 (approximately Rs. 52,300) in the Chinese marketplace for its only 10GB RAM + 128GB storage version, as per an announcement created on the company’s official Weibo account.

The dual-SIM Vivo Nex Dual Screen Edition runs Funtouch OS 4.5 along with Android 9.0 Pie. It sports two screen panels a 6.39-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) 19.5:9 AMOLED panel at front along with a 5.49-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) 16:9 AMOLED panel in the rear.

In terms of optics, the Vivo Nex Dual Screen Edition sports a triple back camera setup at the back. No camera detectors are provided on the front. Thus, face unlock functions just using the cameras placed at the trunk. To unlock the phone from the front, an in-display fingerprint sensor was provided on the main display. There is a 3,500mAh battery under the hood, with support for 22.5W quick charging.

Connectivity choices on the Vivo Nex Dual Screen Edition include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, GLONASS, a USB Type-C (v2.0) port, and a 3.5Millimeter headphone jack. Dimensions are 157.19×75.3×8.09mm and the second-gen Vivo Nex version weighs 199.2 g.
