Amid all of the earnings on e-commerce sites, Oppo has announced a price cut for its budget smartphone known as the A71.

According to Mumbai-based merchant Mahesh Telecom, the handset which was launched in September last year at Rs 12,990, has now got a price cut of Rs 3,000. Post the price cut, the handset is now available for Rs 9,990.

Much like another Oppo smartphones, this funding smartphone is intended for selfie fans and comes with a Beautify 4.0 feature. It boasts of a metal weathered layout.

Concerning specs, the Oppo A71 includes a 5.2-inch display with full HD display resolution. It gives 16GB internal storage plus a 3000mAh battery. It is powered through an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chip combined with 3GB RAM. For imaging duties, the apparatus has a 13MP back camera and also a 5MP front facing camera. It’s available in Black and Gold color variations and weighs 137g using 148.1×73.8×7.6millimeter dimensions.

The smartphone operates on Android 7.1 Nougat based ColorOS 3.1 custom skin. It has a dual-sim card operation and provides Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi as connectivity options.

This really isn’t the only advancement from Oppo because of its budget smartphones. Just last week, Oppo started its first smartphone of this calendar year, called the Oppo A83, in Rs 13,990. Oppo A83 smartphone made its debut in China last month and boasts of artificial intelligence-based beauty recognition feature in addition to a full display bezel-less screen. It also comes equipped with face unlock feature.
