It is no secret that the second Xbox is currently in creation and Xbox manager Phil Spencer has been courting game developers to choose what sort of specifications and features that the following Xbox could have. Even though this is par for the course for many console manufacturers, what is fascinating is, Spencer is working closely together with Japanese game programmers.
Based on an interview with Famitsu (through Game Rant), Spencer spoke about taking a number of trips to Japan to see programmers. They allow him to play with the games before launch and speak to him regarding their objectives. He believes that this bond is significant in fostering a connection between stage holders such as Microsoft and game creators.
While he did not mention any particular businesses which are providing input on another Xbox he did say that Microsoft has requested Japanese programmers what”inventions” they wish to find that could be integrated in the console (or household of consoles). This could bring about a diverse feature set and enhanced specifications (maybe having high speed GDDR6 memory).
Spencer also said the following Xbox will revolve around frame speed and starting games quicker that is to be expected given how badly optimized the Xbox One OS is. Fans should hope to find out more about another Xbox and other manners Microsoft intends to appeal to the Japanese viewer when more is probably shown following year. We will not be shocked if those included timed/permanent exclusives or even Microsoft purchasing Japanese programmers outright.
