LG, Huawei, Xiaomi, ZTE, OnePlus, Oppo, and Sony revealed their 5G phones (a few were prototypes) in the world’s biggest cellular fair this season. We did not hear much from Lenovo until now. The company was expected to show its Z6 Pro smartphone in MWC, but instead, all we have is a peek at the company’s forthcoming flagship.
Lenovo Phone vice president, Edward Chang, offered a sneak peek into the company’s strategies for the Z6 Pro smartphone and the future of 5G networks. Chang talked about how 5G cellular networks will pave the way for high-resolution videos and photographs that will assume the Internet within the upcoming few decades.
Lenovo’s forthcoming Z6 Pro will encourage 5G networks and will feature a new’HyperVision’ camera that will be effective at something the company calls’Hyper Videos’. Lenovo has not confirmed these videos will probably be about but has promised to reveal more details shortly.
Chang additional added that while 4G movies are moved at 100Mbps-1Gbps community prices, future videos will be transmitted at 10Gbps and above prices.
The Lenovo Z6 Pro will offer the next-generation camera technology, said Chang. He said Lenovo was working on its Hyper Video camera for quite a while now, and it’ll ship with all the Z6 Pro about June this year. The phone is expected to launch in China first. Throughout the demonstration, Chang also called this new Nokia 9 PureView and an undercover forthcoming phone with a high-resolution camera sensor.
There was no reference of any pricing or specifications during the presentation. But, Chang did hint at revealing more details about the upcoming cellphone’s camera technologies in the not too distant future.
