Transsion Holdings brand Infinix, as promised, has unveiled its Zero 5 smartphone for the Indian market. The all-new Infinix Zero 5 sports double back cameras with support for optical zoom and portrait mode. There is an octa-core processor powering the device while it packs 6GB of RAM. The business also has unveiled Infinix Zero 5 Pro which is identical to the Infinix Zero 5 with only one major difference.

The all-new Infinix Zero 5 will probably be going on sale starting November 22 in 12am IST and will be exclusive to Flipkart. The Zero 5 was priced at Rs. 17,999 and comes in Champagne Gold, Bordeaux Red, and Sandstone Black colors. 19,999.

Infinix Zero 5 specifications
The Infinix Zero 5 includes a 5.98-inch full-HD 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor clocked at 2.6GHz combined with 6GB of RAM. The Zero 5 packs 64GB inbuilt storage while the Zero 5 Pro comes with 128GB storage. There is no difference between both handsets aside from the on-board storage. Both devices support expandable storage via microSD card (up to 128GB). It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with all the company’s custom skin XOS 3.0 at the top.

Talking about the cameras, the Zero 5 sports dual cameras in the back. There’s a 12-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and dual LED Flash in addition to a secondary 13-megapixel camera with telephoto lens, f/2.6 aperture, and 2x optical zoom. At the front, the handset packs a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash. The handset comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back. For connectivity there is 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. GPS, USB-Type C, and 3.5mm audio jack. It packs a 4350mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support.
