Developer Treyarch took the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 subreddit to ensure it is understood that the multiplayer army shooter will see some updates to how firearms work in the sport, mentioning it’s an adequate number of data since Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 October 12 launch. While no particular weapon was called out, no particular time or download size of the update has been cited either.
Meanwhile, the members of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 community have said certain aspects concerning the game like its assault rifles and Specialist abilities such as Nomad’s puppy being issues of concern. Safe to say should observe fixes when Treyarch reveals specifics of the important upgrade.
“We’ve seen remarks and asks around general weapon pruning since launching. We take weapon pruning very badly and place any proposed alterations through rigorous internal testing until we believe a change to the game,” Treyarch’s article reads. “That said, we have captured a massive amount of input and stats since October 12th, and we’re currently making a tuning pass to get a major update coming soon.
Along with the, Treyarch shed light on how Featured Playlists work in Black Ops 4 stating that they would, occasionally, distribute boosts such as double experience points.
“We’d also like to take this chance to talk about Featured Playlists in Black Ops 4 because we’re doing things a little differently with playlists in this match,” Treyarch continued. “You’ll notice we’ve established’Featured’ playlist tiles for Multiplayer, Blackout, and Zombies on the home display. These will change regularly, and will sometimes even include bonus modifiers, such as 2XP, for limited intervals. Black Ops 4 was created as a event-driven game, and the Featured playlists will serve to rally the community about different ways to play each week.”
