This new language service suggests the importance of the Indian market and its own large pool of clients to the e-commerce. With the addition of Hindi language support, Amazon seems to catch a wider market in the nation. Amazon notes that clients can now read detailed product information, find deals and discounts, set the orders, cover their ordersand manage their account information, track their orders, and view purchase background in Hindi.
Amazon India’s Android app and mobile website finally have a new language option in the left Menu bar. The program doesn’t require to be upgraded, with the new Language option showing thanks to some server-side upgrade, the company said at a media event in New Delhi. The language button now has the option to switch from English to Hindi, and it now lists just top products and important shopping information in Hindi. The Hindi language service currently doesn’t record all products in the regional language, but navigation buttons and posters do read in Hindi. Amazon states that the search feature and the shipping address currently needs English intervention as well, but within the course of the weeks, it will add more shopping features like product reviews, questions and answers in Hindi.
