Continuing its fightback against Reliance Jio’s Aggressive plans, Bharti Airtel has revised its Rs. 799 pack for prepaid subscribers.
Formerly, the identical Rs. 799 package by Airtel was offering 3GB information per day to undertake the Jio Rs. 799 packagewhich has been initially exclusive to iPhone users. With the newest upgrade, Airtel is offering a total of 98GB of 3G/ 4G information for 28 days to its prepaid subscribers. This is 14GB more than what Reliance Jio subscribers can get with its Rs. 799 pack as it provides 3GB daily information for 28 days against Airtel’s 3.5GB of data per day.
It is worth noting that as with different packs, the ‘infinite’ calls in the Airtel 799 pack are limited to 250 minutes every day and 1,000 minutes per week. This applies to both the local and STD calls. This brings a cashback value around Rs. 75. Last week, Airtel brought its Rs. 93 pack to offer 1GB information every day, unlimited local, STD, and roaming calls, and 100 local and STD SMS per day using a validity of 10 days. That prepaid package was made to compete against the Reliance Jio Rs. 98 pack.
In addition to offering bulk of data, Airtel lately revived the Airtel TV app and announced free subscription to its own content for Airtel prepaid and postpaid subscribers until June. The app offers more than 300 live TV stations across genres such as GEC, movies, and news along over 6,000 Bollywood and Hollywood blockbusters and accessibility to HOOQ, Eros Today, and Sony Liv. This was a tactical movement to rival Jio’s bouquet of services through JioTV, JioCinema, and JioMusic.
